Southeast Arkansas Bald Eagle

The kids and I got to see a bald eagle last night. It was incredible. There are 4 eagles in all but we only got to see one. There are the parents and 2 babies. We also got to see a 14 foot alligator, humming birds and armadillo. Notice the bird on the very top of the tree to see just how big the eagle is. Also, their nest is on the bottom left. It was amazing!!

Adelyn's first swim meet

Adelyn had her first swim meet this weekend. Our friends from Garland were here this weekend, so it was a fun filled weekend. Adelyn won FIRST place in back and breast stroke. And 4th in freestyle and 4th in a relay. She had a blast. After her last race I told her we had to go. She said"Wait! I have to get my trophy!" I told her that she would get ribbons at practice on Monday. She said "Practice! I thought this was the tournament!" She thought swimming was over. On to the next thing! She is a hoot and obviously a good swimmer too!

Oooo! I'm tellin'! You're not blogging!!!

I mean, please. Is Jeff not just like that kid you had to play with as a child that loved to tattle tale? Or maybe your kid has a friend like that now and the whole 'come over and play' day is her running back and forth to you with tattle tales. I will blog when I can! No need to go and tattle on me and having the whole blog world come to my whimpy site. I am not like Jeff. Writing for me is an effort. When he writes it is like picking his nose. Which he thinks is fun, easy and comforting. When I write is like having to stand up and give a speech for Murderers Anonymous. Jeff, stop whining and go back to your blog! and for all of you who care, thanks for stopping by!
